We did a lot fun things for our anniversary. Some of the things we said we'll get to it but never did and some things we did it again just because...
I'm too lazy to write so I'll just post pictures with long captions. hehe.
04.27 in OC
My whole life I've only been to Olive Garden once when I was 16... so I wanted to go there again since I have one near my house...it has been 2 years and we still didn't get to go there yet. So...we thought it would be funny to go there on our anniversary. Here we are in front waiting for another 45 minutes after 2 years.
When we finally got to our table..Jon told me he'll be right back. I kinda assumed he was going to the bathroom but a few minutes later I started to hear all these aweing and looked up and there he was with this large bouquet of long stem roses. I think I kinda froze for a few seconds. He really got me...I didn't even knew he had it up his sleeve.
04.28 gone to Hollywood
The Daytime Emmys. It was the first time we saw a red carpet event. We didn't know most of the celebs because they were from daytime soaps but it was still pretty cool just to be there.
Eating dinner at Koji's. The whole meal only cost about $35 from $50 because I got the gift certificate at Restaurants.com where I paid $10 for at $25 certificate. It was a good meal. If you like strong mixed drinks, you should go here. All we tasted was the alcohol with a hint of fruit rather than the other way around. I was silly after half. hehe.
Kramar from Seinfield at the laugh factory. He made me almost pee in my pants. It was fun because I knew Jon enjoyed it a lot. He usually don't curse and the whole night he kept saying "Oh, Shit!" I asked him why and he said it was just too funny that he didn't know wat to say. hehe so cute
04.29 Universal Studios
.
The tickets came with the hotel so we took advantage of it. Our hotel even had a shuttle that drops us off right here at this spot so it was really convenient.
Somehow I always manage to get Jon to take these kind of pictures with me. Child at heart.
The tour had a lot of new things. Do you guys recognize this scene? It's the scene from War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise when he gets out of his house and the plane crashed. They actually used a real airplane and disposed it for the scene. I think it was a retired airplane. I was sitting on the right side to the trolly thing so I didn't get great pictures but if you're planning to go sit on the left side...you could get a full shot of the plane and Tom's house.
We went home Sunday afternoon cuz I had hw to do. The whole trip was amazing. Did I tell you why we chose Hollywood? We decided to go there because it was the first place we took our vacation. The first time Jon took me he bought a package with hotel and Universal tickets. It said it was going to be at a 2 star hotel but when we got there...we were in the ghetto area. It was just bad. We wanted to make up for the first vacation so we decided Hollywood. This time I did the planning and got ourselves into the Holiday Inn. Much better upgrade.
Silly love pose. I got this pose from Korean Drama/Movies. If you like Korean Drama, watch Princess Hours/Goong. I liked it alot. If you have any recommendation on K-drama let me know. Here's a music video for Goong made by a fan.
I've been scrapbooking for the past few months. I wanted to do have a keepsake for me and Jon that is more personal and loving rather than the usual photo album. I never thought that it would cost so much ...there are so many things to buy or at least I wanted to buy. I think I must of spent over $200 by now. I'm hoping that as the years go by...I would be able to gather enough materials for me to reuse and not have to purchase more. Here are some samples...it looks simple but I swear it took me at least an hour per page. It takes so long because there's so many ways to go about it and it's hard for me to decide sometimes. Me = indecisive. Enjoy!
Cute little Daysie
Our first Christmas w/ Daysie (Hey, Tim! Do you recognize the x-mas card?)
Happy early X-Mas! I'm glad finals are all over. I semester gone, just one more to go.
This has been a happy ending to my year so far and I'm hoping that it only gets better. One of the things that makes my Christmas this year is ending the feud between me and my eldest brother. After 9 months of being mad at me, he has finally begun to talk to me again. If you're curious...we got into a fight because he was lecturing me about my priorities last year. He found that my involvement in VSA and all things attached to it a waste of time...time that I should be spending studying, cleaning, and helping around the house (he's quite traditional) but me being a hardhead that I am...stood up against him. We had an all out argument about it and he refused to talk to me since then. I was suppose to apologize...but me being a hardhead again refused to cuz I didn't see anything wrong with my beliefs. Well, i didn't apologize and I might never do...maybe not till we're old and begin to reflect on old history. My strategy was to ease myself in without an apology by getting him a Christmas present. It worked...I guess he saw me trying. It's not the same like it was before but today was a happy day for me because we were all able to play a game of cards and laugh with each other. I hope it only gets better...
Also, this year is the Best Christmas Present YEAR! I got a lot of good presents this year compared to the other year. I guess everyone must be ball-n this year. If anyone is wondering...I got all of my presents early because I won't be home for Christmas weekend. I'll be in San Diego on Christmas Eve to visit Jon's Mom because she will be in town. Then, on Christmas Day my whole family (i mean everyone in my immediate family) will be going to Las Vegas. yay! wish me luck...i need 'em money
Honorable mentions:
I wish I could post some pictures but I'm lazy like hell.
Jonathan (my honey)- He knows me...it's all about quantity! hehe. I'm all about the small stuff. He got me a portable 7 inch dvd player, dvd case, 2 korean movie series, a sweater, and all his love.
Mommy- Gave me a white gold bracelet with hearts and diamonds. It's really cute.
Daddy- A Jade bracelet and pearl necklace. I can't take the bracelet off anymore....hehe
Sister- A necklace with a charm in the letter S with diamonds.
Tim- He got me a Chambord glass set at our secret santa party. I'll probably drink it on one of my lonely nights =)

End note:
I hope everyone have a great holiday full of love and joy. May all your wishes come true. Let family and friends be blessed. <3
Jon just got me a new phone because he's not working at Verizon anymore so we had to port our phone #'s to a new server or change it to a customer contract....so we decided to go back to T-Mobile to get new phones. We got the new Motorola Rokr w/ the i-tunes. It's an imported phone so we were able to use it for T-Mobile. You'll never guess how much we got it for....but try...
